Transportation
If you will be flying into the Washington, DC area, there are three airports serving this area: Dulles International, Reagan National and Baltimore/Washington International Airport. Driving time from Dulles is approximately one hour with the other two airports taking about an hour longer.
The best form of transportation from the airport to Claymont is a car rental or a taxi which would run approximately $100.00 one way. If you are able to share a ride with other participants that may be the most economical.
If you have any special needs -- food, rooming or roommate requests (please note that the accommodations are usually 3 - 4 to a room), etc., feel free to contact our office a.s.a.p. to let us know what your needs are. We will try and accommodate any special room requests.
Room and Board for this program is $415.00. Arrival time on Wednesday is 10:00 a.m. and departure time is 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
The first meal served is lunch on Wednesday, and will finish up with lunch on Sunday. Some type of meat will be served during lunch and dinner. If you have any special diet needs, please let us know immediately so that we can communicate your needs to the kitchen there. If we do not hear from you, Claymont may not be able to accommodate your requests. Also, at Claymont Court, bath towels, bed linens, blankets and pillows are provided, so you don't need to bring bath towels or sleeping bags. There is not daily maid service in the sleeping rooms.
If you need to arrive a day early, please call Claymont directly. You will pay Claymont directly for the additional night when you arrive.
